Privacy Policy

SignedBid (“SignedBid,” “we,” “us”) builds quoting and estimating software for trade contractors. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it's protected, for both contractors who use SignedBid and homeowners who receive a quote through it.
What we collect
From contractors: account and company details (name, email, business name, license number, logo), price book contents, and quote data you create.
From homeowners viewing a quote: your name and signature when you approve a quote, and — for audit purposes required by U.S. e-signature law (the ESIGN Act) — the IP address, approximate location, and timestamp at the moment of signing. We do not require homeowners to create an account or log in to view or sign a quote.
How we use it
- To generate, send, and display quotes and their line-item math.
- To build the signature audit trail attached to an approved quote.
- To notify a contractor when their quote is viewed, approved, or declined.
- To process subscription billing via Creem.
Payments
SignedBid subscriptions are billed through Creem, our merchant of record. SignedBid does not collect, hold, or process any payments on behalf of contractors or homeowners beyond its own subscription fees.
Where data lives
Data is stored with Supabase (Postgres, file storage) with access controls scoped per contractor account. We don't sell data, and we don't share it with third parties except Creem (subscription billing) and standard infrastructure providers needed to run the service.
Cookies
SignedBid uses a single session cookie to keep contractors logged in. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. The public quote page a homeowner views sets no cookies at all.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it at any time by emailing [email protected]. Contractors can export or delete their account data directly from Settings.
